In 2019, seeking adventure, Sean decided to move to Vietnam. Just two weeks later, Tammy and her family embarked on the same journey. Little did they know that fate had a special surprise in store. On her second day in Hanoi, Tammy received a knock at the door, and as they gathered to celebrate a mutual friend’s birthday, she found herself drawn to a certain someone on the other side.

From the moment they met, it felt like no one else existed in the room. As they bonded over shared memories of small-town life and beloved South African snacks, Sean posed a crucial question: "What do you think of Will Ferrell?" Tammy’s enthusiastic reply confirmed it—she was a keeper!

They took a leap of faith and moved in together. Since that day, they’ve embraced life’s journey hand in hand, navigating through the ups and downs, including quarantine adventures and Tammy's unhealthy need to love any small animal that might need a home.
